A great dress to have in your closet is one that is super versatile, usually in a single color, preferably in a neutral shade, with no patterns but maybe some texture. That's why LBD's and LWD's are a thing! They go with everything, for any occasion, and always look great and put together. This post is all about my new go-to little white dress and two ways that I styled it.
1. Date Night
Gus and my anniversary is coming up next month, and I was on the lookout for a simple, yet sexy, little dress for our special night! This dress from Velvet Heart checks all the boxes. It is so cute and trendy, but will be a staple in my closet and will never go out of style! Made out of a linen blend fabric, it is light and airy, perfect for summer weather. It is a bit sheer so wear nude underwear or a slip underneath! I love the button details and the tie waist. Those details, paired with the length, make it a flattering and sassy dress!
I styled this dress with a neutral color palette, which felt very light and summery, just like the dress! These Steve Madden heels from DSW have been my favorites for a while. I finished off this look with some more summery accessories! I bought my bracelet at a little market when Gus and I went to Turks and Caicos, but I have found some very similar ones on Etsy linked above!
I also wore a cute little wishbone necklace from Banks Jewelry. I actually received it as a free gift with a purchase from their store! I love how dainty and feminine it is.

2. Swimsuit Coverup
This dress is a perfect swimsuit coverup! Like I said earlier, it is light, airy, and casual, perfect for the beach or the pool! I threw it on over a swimsuit, grabbed a pair of sandals, sunglasses, and a beach bag, and was ready to go!
My sandals were purchased from Nordstrom a couple of years ago and are miraculously still available! I have also linked some very similar sandals that are more affordable.
