While I am finally getting old enough that birthdays are no longer fun, I am doing my best to celebrate yet another year of life! My newest tradition to get me excited? Doughnuts... I can never justify eating doughnuts for just any old day, so I get them on my birthday! I also love getting to spend the day with family and friends. I guess the best part of my birthday is that I made it to 25! Life has been wonderful so far and last year was one of the best years of my life. I am looking forward to so many more adventures and birthdays!
When I saw this dress from Chicwish, I knew that I wanted to wear it for my birthday. It is me to a T! I love love love its vintage silhouette, beautiful floral print, and luxe fabric. Did I mention it was only $55? This dress is so perfect for events, weddings, family pictures, church, or just an everyday look if you're extra like me... You do need to wear a strapless or modified bra with this dress, as it has a boat neck neckline, which is so pretty and feminine!
These Louise et Cie heels from Nordstrom have been in my closet for a couple years now and are staple shoes for me! I have styled these with several of my blog posts, see one here! While the velvet fabric red heels are sold out, I did find the exact heels in red but in leather instead. They add a great pop of color to any look!
I absolutely love Aldo Shoes for their super affordable bags and shoes! They always have such cute and on-trend styles. This particular bag was perfect for this look. While the shoes, balloons, and hair accessory brought out the red in the floral pattern of the dress, this bag brought out the pink! It is a great bag and can be worn as either a top handle or a crossbody.
To finish off the look, I embraced more of the red in the dress's pattern by accessorizing with this adorable red hair clip from Violet & Brooks, a boutique I recently discovered thanks to a fellow blogger. They have so many cute hair accessories! I also wore some pearl ear crawler earrings (similar linked above), a Kate Spade pearl bracelet, and my signature red lip from Kylie Cosmetics!
