25 Days of Holiday Style! ~Day 8~

Updated: Feb 13, 2020

It's Christmas Time in the City! Gus and I got to spend some time in Wichita this weekend to do some Christmas shopping. It was such a fun day and I'm very glad that most of our shopping is done for the season! I love Old Town and came here around New Years last year to take some holiday pictures (see here), so we just had to come back this year. I love how these shots turned out and I looked so classically festive in this outfit. I felt like I was out of a scene from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel!

This dress from Rent the Runway is so magical and amazing for the Christmas season! While I didn't discover that it was technically pink until after this shoot, it totally comes off as red (to me) both in my pictures and in person! How weird is that?! Either way, it ended up being one of my favorite looks, so far, for this series! I love the classic silhouette and the little touch of the buttons on the shoulder.

These boots are probably the oldest pair that I own. They are just so classic and pretty that they have never gone out of style! I love their little buckle details and the comfortable heel height. They will continue to be staples in my closet for many years. Since they are old, I have linked similar options above!

I also layered my favorite pair of tights underneath for some warmth. These tights from Sheertex are super strong and never snag or run. I am pretty rough on my tights but these have lasted forever!

The cutest addition to my look has to be this clutch from Violet and Brooks! I love it's classic look, but with a twist, and the beautiful bow and bracelet handle set it over the top! This bag will be a go-to for this season! I love Violet and Brooks for their unique and beautiful accessories and jewelry!

I finished off the look with some of my favorite winter accessories! This beret, from last year's Halogen X Atlantic-Pacific collection, is so fun and unique and goes with just about anything! I also have worn these beautiful Baublebar earrings for a long time. They fit so well together! Since they are both old, I have linked some similar options above!

My lipstick is from Smashbox. I went with a new shade, Maneater, that is a beautiful, bright red with some gold sparkle!
