Christmas and New Years has come and gone, and even though I am super excited for the New Year and our predicted "warmer" weather over the next week, I am a little sad that we did not have a white Christmas. I found myself going through the pictures from November, which seems like forever ago already, remembering the beautiful snow we were blessed with that month... and none since... Sadly, this is the last outfit that I have to post from that snow, so I am hoping another opportunity comes soon! I saved one of my favorites for last, as this look works so well with this beautiful background!

The rule of "no white after Labor Day" no longer applies in today's fashion. In the past, this rule for white clothing may have originated as a sign of wealth and/or reserved for when people wanted to stay cool. Now, winter whites are everywhere and couldn't be more chic and beautiful, bringing life to their surroundings of dead plants and trees. This dress by my favorite brand, Gal Meets Glam, has been in my closet since the fall. It is one of their best, in my opinion. I love the heavy fabric, the long sleeves, and the fit and flare shape. It is so flattering!

I have shared this H&M faux fur coat with you in the past (see here) and love having it for those really cold winter days! It is so warm and literally the softest thing I have ever felt. It is a wonderful option for a sophisticated winter coat as it is versatile, stylish, and smart! It does shed a little bit, so be aware of that. If wearing it with a lighter base, like I am above, make sure to bring a lint roller to rid your outfit of any fuzzies when you take the coat off. It works just fine with darker colors!

While I did just share these boots and this clutch from Nordstrom with you not too long ago, see here and here, I am posting them again because they are seriously two of the most worn items in my closet. While these boots are super old, I did find some very similar options for you linked above. I think everyone should have a basic pair of black boots, but these are elevated a little with the buckle detail and the suede material. I apologize if you are getting sick of this bag. I am building my collection of clutches but, in the meantime, this one is definitely my go-to for a little added glam. I love the sparkle and classy style!

I haven't found a statement necklace that I love so much in a very long time. This tassel necklace from J.Crew is so good! I actually have it in red as well. For some reason, I like to wear statement earrings more than necklaces, but this one was perfect for this look. The tassel on the bottom paired with just enough sparkle stood out so well against the white dress. This necklace is on MAJOR sale.... Get an extra 60% off with code, NEWYEAR... I also wore a beautiful beret from Nordstrom that matched the dress so well, some earrings from H&M, and gloves from Marshalls. I liked the pop of color that they gave to the look!
