In the winter months, there is nothing better, to me, than a sweater dress! Most of the time, they are super cozy and can keep you even warmer, while still keeping a feminine feel. When I saw this Something Navy dress from Nordstrom in the sneak peek for their December collection, I knew I had to snag it when the collection launched. This sweater dress is the most luxe, soft, and sophisticated sweater dress that I own, and would be great for everything from lounging around or running errands to going to work or on a date. It is super stretchy (I am wearing my normal size but could wear either a size below or a size above if I wanted it to be more slouchy) and has a pretty straight fit, so I wore it with a belt to define my waist.

Speaking of belts, this particular belt has been in my closet for years! I did happen to find it at Kmart, but only in a size large, so I did my best to link some similar options for you above as well. I like that this stretch belt compliments the color of the dress, the buttons on the coat, and the boots that I wore with this look. It just ties everything together and, as I said above, helps to draw in my waist by accentuating the smallest part of it. Life hack: order a belt you normally wear around your hips with pants in a size smaller if you want to wear it around your waist like the one above! -OR- check out this video to see other ways to wear a long belt!

I have shared this coat on my Instagram, but never linked it before! I purchased this C/Meo Collective coat from Shopbop back in the early fall thanks to a fellow blogger and have used it so much since then! This coat is made of very nice and heavy wool mixture material, so it keeps you warm while being super stylish! The only downside is that it doesn't have pockets... Wear gloves with this coat if it is super cold! I really like the plaid pattern and felt that it added so much to the look.

I have worn these Sam Edelman boots from Nordstrom in black in so many blog posts! (see here, here, and here) They are just too good! I had yet, however, to style the beige color in a post, so I was thrilled to wear them with this dress. With their knee-high length and the length of the dress, I had no need to wear tights, and stayed nice and warm while out and about! They are also on MAJOR sale right now, at 60% off! Hurry up and check them out before they are gone!

This bag from Target is an affordable, and super cute, addition to your wardrobe! I love the quilted pattern and the burgundy color that added a different hue into the look and matched the little hint of red that was in the coat!

I chose modern, clean lines for my jewelry, wearing a gold drop earrings and a ring set from Rocksbox and a bracelet from H&M. For my lipstick, I chose a lighter, rose shade from Pat McGrath Labs to compliment the beige tones of the look.
