Gus and I always try to take advantage of the snow whenever we get the chance. I love the wonderland it creates and, even though it is freezing, always get cool pictures out of it! Keep scrolling for more great pictures and one of the coolest shots that we have ever gotten, in my opinion. You'll know which one I am talking about!

For this look, I wanted to create a modern ballerina/snow princess look and I had so much fun wearing it! I seriously felt like Elsa.. While this shoot was more "just for fun", this outfit would work so well for a Valentines look!

This skirt, from the collaborative collection between Halogen and one of my favorite bloggers brand, Atlantic Pacific, was part of a one time launch at Nordstrom around November. I saw this skirt and fell in love with how pretty and feminine it is! It was the star of the show. While there are only size larges left (if you're a size large, hurry up and buy it!) , I did find a very similar option for the rest of you from Chicwish linked above! Also, there are wonderful Etsy shops that make great tulle skirts.

To help the look to not be so monochromatic and to look a little more modern, I added this great turtleneck sweater from H&M to the ensemble. This sweater has a chic, simple, and clean look to it, and goes with anything! It's also super affordable. (See it styled here and here, as well)

This is the picture I was talking about earlier! I have posted this on Instagram already, but we were really lucky to get this shot! It was really windy, and a gust of wind and snow just happened to blow right in Gus's face/camera right as he was shooting, creating this shot.

I love this cozy, faux fur stole from Ann Taylor (see it here also). This stole, which I included in my Holiday Gift Guide before Christmas, is super soft and warm. It is, sadly, sold out but I have found some great similar options for you all!

I absolutely adore all of my accessories for this look. I purchased this amazing clutch from DSW a while ago and had been waiting for an outfit to wear it with. This was the perfect one! I love the pearl details that match my jewelry, and the embroidered floral pattern adds some interest to the look and is so sweet! With the black background, the floral works well in the winter, and pastels have become very popular this season.

My booties were from Nordstrom and they fit so well with this look. They helped add a more modern feel as well! Like all my Charles David booties, they are super comfortable and very stylish.

I accessorized with pearl jewelry from Rocksbox and other stores and have found some similar options on Etsy.

I finished off the look with this amazing headband from Headbands of Hope that made me feel like a princess! This company, which I found thanks to a fellow blogger, means so much to me! For every item of theirs that is sold, they give a headband/product to a child suffering from cancer. They get to wear gorgeous headbands and feel like princesses as well, which is so special! They also donate a certain amount to child cancer research, looking for a cure. This particular headband is so gorgeous and has delicate little pearls and metal shaped like branches. They have so many other wonderful products. I would highly suggest checking them out!

I wore a lip kit from Kylie Cosmetics in the shade Penelope, but I found a similar shade linked above.
