All dressed up with nowhere to go! Even though life is crazy right now, sustainability is something that should remain on our minds. Our planet is important and I wanted to share one of my go-to brands for sustainable and vegan, luxury accessories! Jord is known for its wood watches and other accessories that are made from natural materials. I have shared my wood watch in the past and love it so much. Today's post is about Jord's new luxury handbag line that I am so excited about! This suberhide wallet, which also functions as a stylish clutch, is made out of cork!
Jord is currently working on becoming 100% vegan and sustainable! The cork that Jord uses for their products is made from the cork oak tree, which can be stripped of its bark without dying! Some of these trees can live up to 200 years and can be stripped once every nine years. This makes it a great sustainable material, since no harm comes to the tree or the environment by harvesting its bark.
