I felt so pretty in this beautiful matching top and skirt set from J.Crew this Sunday! If you remember from my fall style trends blog posts from a couple weeks ago, the matching set style was a part of that list. These pieces are great together, but I will be able to mix and match them with other articles of clothing from my closet all season long! I loved this look for a transitional pre-fall look. As the weather cools down more, I can also wear some boots and a knit cardigan instead of the denim jacket and heels.
These denim stiletto heels by Who What Wear are a steal! I bought these from Target and have linked them above. These heels are perfect for fall, as denim goes with anything, and will be a staple for me. I tied together the look with a lovely denim jacket from Lulus.
Belt Bags (aka Fanny Packs) have been a huge style for the summer, and are not going anywhere! Times have definitely changed for me, as I would not have been caught dead wearing a fanny pack before about a year ago. I am a 90's kid and fully remember the fanny pack trend that has now resurfaced. I feel like there are more stylish options now and hope the trend continues! In my recent trip to New York, belt bags were extremely useful. My hands were free to help me as I rode the Subway, ate lunch, or carried bags through the airport, and my shoulders were pain free after walking miles and miles around the city! Not to mention, I felt safe that I would not be pick-pocketed as my bag was in my sight at all times. I bought this bag from Macys and suggest you look at all of their other styles of belt bags as well!
