If there's one thing that I have learned in my 25 years of life, it's that life definitely doesn't go as planned sometimes. I had originally planned on going to my good friend's wedding this weekend in Kansas City and had this outfit all planned out. I was so excited to see some old friends and spend some time away from home. I also LOVE weddings. They are my favorite event to go to ever.
However, last week, my husbands grandmother peacefully passed away and the funeral was scheduled for the same day as the wedding. I had to put away this cheerful wedding look for a little black dress as we honored our family member's life and spent time with others. I decided to wear the wedding look to church yesterday morning instead!
