How to wear white after Labor Day? Confidently. The more I learn about fashion, the more I have realized that fashion "rules" don't really exist. That whole "no wearing white after Labor Day" rule is out of style and out of date. Don't think that certain colors or patterns can be paired together? Think again. There are many brands/stylists/influencers out there that constantly challenge that, including myself! When it comes to fashion, we should wear whatever we want. Fashion is a representation of who we are and speaks for us before we even open our mouths.
While we are still having warm weather in the upper 80's, I couldn't wait to wear some booties. I stayed with transitional colors and light fabrics, but wore my favorite footwear to hopefully usher in the fall season...
I absolutely love this top from Rebecca Taylor RNTD! This top is such summer and spring vibes, but it totally works for transitional wear! I love the cute pattern with the little details in the sleeves and the high neck. I paired the top with some of my favorite jeans from Good American! I am not really a jeans person, but I can stand the denim from Good American! It is so comfy and fits my body well. Most jeans fit tight on my hips and booty, but loose around my waist, but these hug your curves and have a lot of stretch so they don't dig in! They also hold their shape well throughout the day. My jacket is a new arrival from Vici and it will be so great for fall/winter!
This ALDO bag was perfect for this look! It complimented the top so well and is such a cute crossbody bag! It also is a great size. It is compact enough that it doesn't overwhelm my frame, but large enough to hold everything that I need! It fit my wallet, keys, phone, gum, and lipstick!
I have loved the white bootie trend so much! I think they are so fresh and crisp and add a pop to any outfit. They always look so modern! I purchased these Chinese Laundry booties from the Nordstrom sale this summer and love them!
While they are not pictured here, I wore the cutest "Love" studs by Kate Spade from my Rocksbox! They are my new favorites. I also wore one of my favorite lipsticks from Bite Beauty in shade, Pepper.
