On our last full day in Colorado, Gus and I enjoyed some time out in the nice weather, although it was a little warm for what we were used to there! We hiked up to a familiar spot for us, Adams Falls. This beautiful waterfall is very close to Grand Lake and is a short, but steep journey from the road. There was a festival going on in town, so the place was pretty packed, but we still had fun climbing around on the rocks and viewing the great sights! This outfit is pretty typical for me on days that I don't feel like dressing up, or for when I am being active. I am not a casual jeans person, so I am one of those people who wears leggings or sweats for errands/lazy days, as well as working out. 🤷🏼‍♀️ This top and pair of leggings are some of my favorites. My top is from a great brand, Lululemon. Yes, their stuff is expensive, but it is great quality but still light, and great for workouts. I instantly loved the details on this top. Not only is the pattern cool, but the mesh detail around the edges and the criss cross fabric in the back made it a very unique top. Unfortunately, this particular pattern and color is sold out, but I found one in blue and some other options for you linked above.

My leggings and sports bra are from the new launch of activewear from Good American! These are, by far, the best pair of leggings that I own. Their material is thick, opaque, and holds everything in place, so you feel very secure and know that everything is being covered. The waistband detail is super cute, and the sports bra's details make it a cute, matching set! I cannot stress how amazing these leggings are so PLEASE do yourself a favor and invest in them now.

I could not find these exact Puma shoes, but linked three other options above. These shoes have been in my closet for years now, and are one of my favorite pairs for working out. They are lightweight and have a breathable fabric that is great for keeping your feet cool. They are not good for rainy days, or falling in rivers (not that I did that..). My socks were from Puma as well and are great all around. I like my socks to be short and not very padded so my feet don't over-heat. Since I am definitely not a runner, a light layer is all I need for everyday things (working out at home/the gym, errands, etc). If I am hiking for more than a couple miles, I try to wear thicker socks to avoid blisters.

After our hike, Gus and I headed back to the cabin and took some time to just relax for pretty much the first time on our trip. I had been working on blog posts and battling with internet the whole vacation. Once it cooled off, I could put on this cozy Tommy Jeans sweatshirt from Pac Sun, get a hot beverage, and enjoy the fresh air and cozy porch! We then enjoyed some fondue and traveled into the National Park on a quest to find elk. It was a wonderful way to end our trip to beautiful Colorado.

We hope your enjoyed all of the pictures from our trip! Stay tuned for more posts and our trip to Chicago next week! 💚
