Fall Trends for 2019, Pt. 1
Updated: Apr 14, 2020
While it is only the beginning of August, everyone is shifting gears and starting to think about the start of school in a couple weeks, cooler days, football, pumpkin spice everything and, most importantly, fall fashion! I know it is early, but I have rounded up ten trends that were seen on the 2019 fall runways and how you can wear them! Since there are so many, I am splitting up the trends into two separate posts, so stay tuned for part 2 coming soon!
Suits are great, not just for work, but also for other occasions! Put on a pair of scrappy heels and a glam bag and you are ready for a night out, or put on some sneakers for a cool, chic look! I also included blazer dresses in this. With the last pink dress, add a white turtleneck and booties on a cooler day!
It is so true that trends cycle! The 70's it girl style is back, with bowed blouses, silk scarves, and pleated skirts. I love this style!
Yes, neon. I definitely don't think of this for fall, and this is not for the faint of heart, but I do like trying to embrace trends every so often. However, I do that in my own way. That might mean wearing some small accessories in a neon color or even a neon lipstick!
4. English Tweed
Isn't this dress to die for!? I have totally fallen in love with tweed. It has the right amount of texture and pattern and just screams fall and winter to me! Gal Meets Glam had a ton of tweed for last season's fall collections and I am hoping they create some more styles this year!
5. Dark Florals
I LOVE dark florals for fall! They have been a trend for quite some time and I am so glad that they aren't going anywhere! Dark florals are so fitting for the season. They're moody but still feminine and so beautiful. They are also so versatile and can be worn year round!
