This week has been particularly stressful at my house so my husband, Gus, and I very much enjoyed a lovely night out at a local upscale Italian restaurant, the Renaissance Cafe. It was the perfect excuse, along with a cool, rainy, pre-fall day, to break out one of my all time favorite dresses. This picture was taken outside our beautiful home, which has been the background for most of my pictures thus far!

I am a sucker for a midi dress, as I feel they are very flattering to most body shapes, and this one called to me! I love the dark, romantic colors, and the cut. A midi dress is feminine, modest, but still sexy, and can create a slimmer shape, especially when the shape cinches in at the waist and has a flowing or A-line skirt. This Kate Spade dress was available in Spring 2017, so I have had it a while and, unfortunately, I can't find it on any websites! I did link similar dresses and the accessories to go with the outfit above.

The pink crossbody bag is from a service called Stitch Fix. This is a styling service that sends you a box of five or six pieces of clothing to your home. You can try them on, wear them, and style them with pieces of your existing wardrobe. You can then purchase the items or send them back if you decide you don't want them. I highly recommend this service if you live in a place that lacks clothing stores (like me) or you dislike shopping (unlike me).
