25 Days of Holiday Style! ~Day 4~

Updated: Feb 13, 2020

Lumberjack chic! A buffalo check plaid clothing item is basically required during the holiday season but, to me, it is super easy for it to look very casual/masculine. That is totally fine but, for today's 25 Days of Holiday Style post, I wanted to do something a little different and show a feminine, and even chic, way to dress up a plaid shift dress! All it needs is a bit of faux fur, some velvet, and some sparkle, of course!

I purchased this dress from Old Navy about a month ago in anticipation for the holiday season and have not been disappointed by it! This dress is super cute, very flattering, and affordable! Available in six different colors, you can stock up and have several great looks all year round! I always love when a dress can be worn casually or dressed up. This silhouette is so versatile!

To dress up the look and to add some holiday sparkle (literally) I styled the dress with these amazing boots from Betsey Johnson. She just has the best shoes! I feel like these boots really represent me as a person... classic with a hint of daring/quirkiness! I love the pop of sparkle on the back. You can get either colorful like this or plaid silver sparkle!

To embrace the classic and chic aspects of the look, I went for a super modern and girlie bag from none other than Kate Spade! I rented this bag from Rent the Runway, which is a great way to cycle out some really nice bags without the hefty price! This bag is so unique and will go with so many different looks for the season.

To finish off the look, I wore a really girly and trendy padded headband that I purchased from Etsy about a year ago. This headband has gotten so much use, especially since I cut my hair little too short for a ponytail! I also wore some of my favorite pairs of earrings, old from Kate Spade, and my new fave lipstick color for the season from Smashbox!
