25 Days of Holiday Style! ~Day 2~

Updated: Feb 13, 2020

Christmas time is here again, and so are the Christmas looks! This is the one time of year where we can get away with wearing red and green together, and I am so here for it. For day two of my 25 Days of Holiday Looks, I wanted to give you a little more of an elevated look for a dressy Christmas party or holiday date night!

I actually discovered Ivy City through an add on Insta, and am so glad I did! They have the sweetest dresses (and even mommy and me looks for my mom followers)! I am so in love with this dress. Anything emerald is a no-brainer for me but this dress has everything! It is a luxe, velvet fabric, has a pretty shimmer to it, is super comfortable, and has a flattering and unique silhouette! It is perfect for any holiday (or non-holiday) event. Sadly, this dress is sold out, but I did link it anyway just in case it is restocked. I also linked some similar options above!

To add even more holiday flair, I styled the dress with these incredible Betsey Johnson plaid heels! The loud, plaid print and the slingback shape with the bow make me feel like I am wearing literal presents on my feet! They totally made that look. They are also sold out, but I have linked the exact pair as well as some similar options above.

To top off the look and to break up the monochrome color of the dress, I added this super festive belt from Rachel Parcell's holiday collection! It is perfect for dresses and is so glittery. I have a feeling it will be worn a lot this season.

For a little more added sparkle, and to tie in the belt with the look, I opted for a pretty gold and clear clutch from Nordstrom! Since the look was pretty busy already with those amazing shoes, I wanted to add a more simplified bag to the outfit. This clutch was the perfect little addition!

For the last part of my look, I wore some old rhinestone earrings from Something Navy and my favorite red lipstick from Smashbox!
