There are just so many great plaid styles that I am seeing for this time of year that I decided to make this week, Plaid Week! This second outfit was a perfect choice for this time of year leading up to Christmas. It is great for finishing up your holiday shopping, going for a casual meal, or would work even for a casual holiday get-together. I always feel so festive in this pattern! While it may seem more daring to wear patterned pants, there are great ways to style them that are flattering and super cute. For this shoot, Gus and I got out in the beautiful 50 something degree weather and walked around downtown Salina.

I loved how this amazing, red sweater from H&M popped out from every background and paired so well with the pants and the boots in my outfit. This sweater, which is under $20, is super comfortable with its soft fabric and oversized shape. To show off my pants and to help flatter my figure, I tucked in the front of the sweater, but it looks just as great untucked. Untucked, I would style this sweater with a tighter pair of pants, like some skinny jeans or a pair of leggings. Both of which can be dressed up or down with a pair of heels or some tennies!

These pants from Urban Outfitters are just perfect and super comfortable! Available in 8 different color ways, they give you plenty of options for great patterned pants. Plaid is very popular for this time of year and the pattern is a great way to make a statement and to add some visual interest to a look. I always try to incorporate some pattern or texture into all of my outfits! If this is too bold of a look, pair these pants with a more muted sweater and boot combo.

Speaking of boots, these gorgeous Charles David booties from Nordstrom went so well with the look! They are very comfortable as well and with a heel height that is very easy for me to wear (3"), they were great for walking around downtown! I also have these boots in another color because I love them that much. They can be a bit of a splurge, but they are currently 40% off and totally worth it! I did link some great similar options above as well.

I have shared this bag from Mango in a couple past posts (seen here and here) and love it with this outfit! There is a little bit of white in the plaid pattern that I wanted to play with, so this bag was great! I love winter white and the fact that it stood out against this look made it perfect. Unfortunately, this exact bag is sold out, but I have found two great options linked above that would work so well with this look!

Again, I kept jewelry pretty simple with this look. This outfit is a statement as a whole and I didn't want to over do it with a lot of jewelry! I wore some simple gold studs from H&M and gold and white rings from both H&M and Rocksbox . I also finished off the look with my signature red lip from my Kylie Cosmetics Holiday Collection Set in shade December. It is my absolute favorite shade and I have linked a similar option above!

More Pictures Below!

I hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and take some time to sit back and relax! This time of year can be stressful, trust me, I know. Enjoy it and enjoy others! I am excited to share more with you during this great season. <3
